Resin is sprayed onto the inside of a mold. Fiberglass is then applied to the resin to form a shell having a bottom, side walls and an upper, outwardly turned lip. The fiberglass forms a somewhat roughened surface on the inner side of the completed shell, thereby eliminating the cracking and chipping of the inner surface which has heretofore occured when the fiberglass was on the outer side of the shell and the inner surface of the shell was smooth resin.
