<p>An injector nozzle for plastic materials is heated; a conical deflector is coaxial with the nozzle and is fixed to the nozzle head by a radical extension to form a half-ring shaped duct, a half-ring member is fixed in this duct and is attached to the deflector and nozzle head by radial arms, to form a number of narrow low passages which acts as a filter for the polymer. System eliminates need for separate filters, is self-cleaning, and achieves close temp. control of polymer which has laminar flow through.</p> |
