The rotary connecting device is for connecting transfer pipes integral with fixed equipment with similar pipes integral with movable equipment. The device comprises a fixed part (1) in the form of a disc with upper and lower faces and a movable part (4a) located in an annular recess cut into the fixed part and open on the upper face of the fixed part. The movable part defines an annular space of revolution with the fixed part. A pair of annular gaskets (8a, 9a) serve to isolate the annular space from the outer space.
