The loudspeaker box has a display indicating the power being consumed at any instant and thereby allowing the listener to reduce this power if it threatens to damage a loudspeaker. A power measuring circuit and an optical indicator are connected to the AF input parallel to the loudspeakers and supplied from a power source. The power source has its own on/off switch operated by a relay and consists of a rectifier bridge and a battery.
