<p>The heating and drainage system for areas exposed to the weather is esp. suitable for sports fields, permitting rapid snow and ice thawing as well as water suction and irrigation, so that ground can be used immediately. Pipe ducts are laid below the surface, with holes in the periphery and running between two or more collectors. At an end of one collector there is a device for steam, hot air or other heating-medium generation, and a pump for sucking away and pumping in water. At one end of the other collector there are valve units for opening and closing to and from the atmosphere. The pipes may be made of plastic, with slots in the top half.</p> |
