<p>Exact measurement of method for liq. in containers and machine casings is designed to improve on the unsatisfactory method of measuring fluid level to determine instantenous fluid content. A variable quantity of a measurement medium is added to or drawn from the container, which is not full, until a predetermined pressure change is measured. This quantity is a measure of the vol. which the operating fluid would occupy in a sealed container. Alternatively the pressure variation for a given quantity of fluid extracted or added is measured.</p> |
