<p>The height adjustable floor is designed for use on a theatrical stage. The floor is divided into a number of rectangular plates (1), each having on its corner on the underside a vertical jacking screw (2) held in a self-locking rotating nut (4). The jacking screws are held in a common tube (13) at the corners where plates meet. The nuts of each plate are driven by an associated motor (5) and the drives for the plates are connected by optionally actuated clutches.</p> |
