<p>Inside trimming and lining component for motor vehicles esp. for dashboards, door and roof linings, comprise fibrous press-mouldings, whose rear side is at least partly laminated with a matting. The matting is pref. of a polyester, polyamide or some other plastics or of glassfibres, or alternatively of a woven textile. It is pref. glued or foam-moulded onto the press-moulding. If foam-moulded, the foam is a polyurethane. In the resulting composite article, the backing constitutes a tensile zone resistant to impact.</p> |
