<p>The amplifier, for a hearing aid, uses purely electronic methods to reduce feedback between microphone and loudspeaker and thereby makes the hearing aid mechanically simpler. An electronic delay line(14, 14') is connected between the output of the input amplifier(11) and the LP filter(13) connected to the loudspeaker(12). This delay line is an analogue shift register in bucket-brigade configuration. The delay line is in parallel with a pulse generator(15). Power is supplied from a battery(18) through a voltage converter (19).</p> |
