<p>The radially adjustable clamping jaws are operated by an axially movable piston via a clamping lever. To equalise deviation of the workpiece gripping surface from the ideal form, the jaws are movable in pairs using lever which swivels about a pendulum axis on the chuck piston. The levers are held in their central position by a locking element movable with the chuck piston. The element can e.g. be adjusted between two end positions in the axial direction of the piston by a regulating piston.</p> |
