Readily torn elastic bandage for surgical and sports usage - incorporates e.g. cotton and polyurethane yarns, metal oxide(s) and resins

A braod fabric for bandages has high elasticity along the warp and can be easily torn along the weft or vice versa.: In another variatn the fabric exhibits high elasticity along the warp and can be tron easily both along the warp and weft. The fabric contains either (a) metal salts or oxides or (b) urea-formaldehyde, melamine or similar resin. Used as fixation or compression bandages, after deformation, fracture or other injuries, as well as protective bandages in sports practice. The bandages can be torn easily both longitudinally and transversely without the use of scissors or knife. After tearing, the edge can simply be folded and pressed on the remaining part of the bandage.
