<p>PURPOSE:To end the execution of data edition only by depressing an end key by ending edition forming operation when the end key is depressed again at the time of detecting that data can not be stored in a storage means. CONSTITUTION:A floppy disk drive 6 has a floppy disk detector 6a for detecting whether a floppy disk 5 is set up to a state capable of storing edition data. At the time of depressing the end key 4a for ending editing operation again after depressing the end key 4a and detecting that data can not be stored in the floppy disk 5 by the detector 6a, a CPU 1 ends the edition forming operation. At the time of deciding that the saving of edition data is unnecessary, the end key 4a is depressed again without setting up the floppy disk 5, so that the execution of the program of the edition data stored in RAM 3 is ended without saving the edition data in the floppy disk 5.</p> |
