A storage unit is comprised of two side walls, a rear wall, top and bottom wall and a front opening. The interior of the storage unit defines a storage cavity which is adapted to receive sliding drawers, trays or shelves. The interior of the side wall of the storage cavity defines a plurality of integrally molded support and stability arms. The drawers, trays or shelves slide between pairs of arms and are prevented from unintentional withdrawal by abutment stops. A trackway is provided in the interior which allows a Tambour door to close off the frontal opening and a drop front door is also disclosed to seal off the unit from outside contamination. Base units and transportation apparatus are also provided as attachments to the unit.
