CONTINUAL QUICK SERVICE VALVE DEVICE WITH FAST CHARGING MEANS A cycling type continual quick service valve device is improved by the addition of a bypass choke and check valve in parallel with a charging choke, which sets the rate of brake pipe reduction to which the quick service valve is responsive. The bypass choke provides for a faster rate of recharge of the quick service volume and consequently permits faster cycling of the quick service valve to be realized without changing the size of the charging choke, thereby accommodating a wider range of operating parameters without affecting the quick service response sensitivity.
