A vehicle seat comprises a seat- portion and a squab hinged together. Figure 3 is a vertical section view of the seat-portion (11) and shows a U-shaped upholstery part (13) constructed on a U-shaped rigid frame (14) and a central upholstery part (24) supported between the limbs of the frame (14) by means of a framework (23), springs (22) and hooks (21). The spaced cross members 15 extend between the limbs of the frame for mounting the seat. A seat squab is similarly constructed and the ends of the limb of the squab are hinged to the ends of the limbs of the seat portion. <IMAGE> |
