PURPOSE:To allow a single opening and closing mechanism to serve for both a door and door window in combination so as to simplify the mechanism, by providing a door at an opening section of a side of a main body of a vehicle in such a way that the door can be rotated about a lateral axis of the car body in a plan including the opening section and can be anchored. CONSTITUTION:When a person wants to get on the vehicle, a rotational force is given to the door 3 from the outside to rotate the door 3 about a shaft 8 with the outer periphery 3a guided along a rail 4 in such a way that the door 3 is rotated in a plan including the opening section 2 formed in the side of the car body 1. When the door 3 is rotated by 180 degrees to overlap with an outer plate 5, a doorway is opened at the half of the opening section 2. After the person has got on the vehicle, and when he rotates the door 3 by required degrees using a knob 6, an opening is formed as a window between the inner peripheries 3b, 5b respectively of the door 3 and the outer plate 5. The a space for opening or closing a door can be omitted, and the single mechanism can serve for both the door and the door window, which makes the mechanism simple. |
