The handling device is for eacy gripping and turning over of individual sheets forming part of a book or a stack. The handling is facilitated by the attachment to the sheet of a tab made from a foil or similar thin material fitted to the edge of the individual sheets. During mfr. part of the tab is covered with an adhesive layer. The latter is covered with a pull-off protective foil. Turning over of pages by musicians during concerts etc. can be carried out while the attention is either fully or partially engaged elsewhere.
