Protective cover made from a transparent material is for storage of postage stamps, letters, album sheets, coins, etc. The cover is not only fitted with openings to insert the objects and if required with openings used to store the cover in a binder with ring filing mechanism, but in addition includes ventilation openings made through a perforation or partially slotting open or holding open at the cover edges. The cover prevents colour changes caused by long storage particularly in the case of stamp collections.
