DATA TELEPHONE TERMINAL TESTER

PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for residence of an operator and to rationalize the test work by providing a data telephone terminal tester containing a data telephone function test control circuit at the exchange side and performing an automatic test for data telephone terminals. CONSTITUTION:A data telephone terminal tester AATE is provided at an exchange station LS-B. A data telephone terminal device D-TEL-A connected to a terminal LS-A is connected with dialing to the station LS-B via an outgoing device OGT and incoming device ICT to call the AATE. While a data telephone terminal D-TEL-B connected to the same terminal LS-B as the AATE is connected to the AATE through a route of an end office LSB, an intra-office trunk IOT and the AATE. Then the AATE tests a data telephone terminal by a prescribed program. This omits the manned monitor and operation and automates and rationalize the test work.
