A device for machining the surface of workpieces having irregular contours, having the form of a rotating body set against the surface to be machined and which periphery carries the tools for machining the surface of the workpiece, the rotating body is divided into a plurality of sections (21 ...), driven by a common shaft (23). For the purpose of individual setting of the sections (21 ...) against the surface to be machined, the shaft (23) passes excentrically through the sections (21 ...), there being on the shaft drive wheels (231) that act internally on each individual section and, also for each section at least one guide (25) that is easily rotatable in respect of the shaft (23) and also in respect of the section (21) against which it presses, so that the driven sections (21 ...) can, if necessary, be forced individually (arrow C) against the force of s return spring (241) and thus can be set against the surface to be machined. |
