PURPOSE:To enable the printing by selection of a required type wheel, by possessing a means of discriminating a storage means and a means of discriminating the type wheel. CONSTITUTION:The positional counter of a magazine 40 is cleared at a home position and '1' is set at the counter CNT of RAM. The type of the magazine 40 is discriminated with a sensor 78 and stored in WMEMO of RAM. The first cartridge 10 is raised by shifting the wheel magazine 40 rightwards and the discriminating number of the wheel cartridge 30 is discriminated with a sensor 80 and stored by corresponding it to the storage position (the value of CNT) in the magazine 40 of the cartridge 30. The cartridge 30 is stored again in the magazine 40 and the counter CNT is joined by '+1'. Then whether CNT becomes '6' is examined. If it is not '6', the next cartridge 30 is discriminated by shifting the magazine 40 rightwards again. Five cartridges 30 are discriminated to be stored. Therefore, an arbitrary one wheel cartridge 30 becomes to be able to be selected. |
