PURPOSE:To obtain the titled yarn having improved deodorizing effects, fiber performance and feeling, by providing acrylic yarn which is produced by wet spinning, drawn, washed with water and in a gel swollen state with a solution containing specific two compounds. CONSTITUTION:Firstly, an acrylic polymer is subjected to wet spinning, drawn and washed with water. Then, the acrylic yarn in a gel swollen state after the washing with water is provided with a solution, dispersion or emulsion containing (A) a metallic porphyrin of a metallic complex having oxidation- reduction ability shown by formula I [X is substituent group; M is oxidation- reduction ability-containing metal (compound) ion], a metallic porphyrazine shown by formula II (Y is X), a derivative thereof or a high polymer metallic complex and (B) an amino acid and/or a derivative thereof. The yarn is dried, made dense and heat-treated to give the aimed yarn containing the components A and B. Phthalocyanine iron octacarboxylate, etc., are preferable as the component A. Aspartic acid, etc., are preferable as the component B. |
