At least one of the components forming the bottom of a sports shoe;- the outer sole, the inner sole and possibly a reinforcement piece, and at elast in the front zone of the shoe, is produced froma resilient, elastic material. This component, is, at least locally, dished transversely to the length of the sole and arched downwards. The dished zone at the front of the sole also is arched in the lengthways direction, so that a slightly spherical effect is obtd.with the arching extending across the full widht. In the zone of the front sole, the inner sole is made from resilient elastic material, such as polyamide, over the length extending to the bending line. In the heel zone a conventional inner sole material is ued. The design is specifically intended for a football shoe which stiffens the foot downwards when the ball is kicked to make a shot or a pass, so that deflection of the foot is prevented without any loss of flexibility of the shoe and without its weight being increased. The stiffening of the foot ensures much greater accuracy. The weight can be reduced to less than 250 g. Abrasion of the instep is prevented as well as the brusing which happens with conventional shoes.
|
