Bayonet-action clip for fixing cable to wall - has diagonal groove in body which is rotated to grip cable in undercut grooves of raised corners

The bayonet-action is for use in fixing elongated elements e.g. cables to a support. The clip may have a rectangular head (1) traversed by a diagonal groove (3). the acute angled corners (5, 6) of the raised regions (7, 8) forming the groove are undercut to provide cantilevers defining a passage for the cable at a specific orientation to the axis (A) of the groove. The clip may be assembled by first aligning the cable (4) in the groove. The clip is rotated 60 deg. for the cantilevers to clip over the cable from opposite directions. The clip is screwed to the support and the fixing is complete.
