The connector is joined to a sterile container by means of a tube which is pressed over the inner end (12). The connector is made up of two flanged pieces (3, 4). The flanges are joined to the inner stem (12) on one side and to the blind stem (10) on the other. A seal disc (2) is inserted in between the two flanges to close the container. The container is opened by breaking the flange and removing the seal. |
