<p>The separator is capable of sepg. heterogeneous mixts. and also homogeneous mixts. e.g. emulsions, and comprises a receiver, divided into chambers by partitions, and an emulsion separator. The emulsion separator consists of a pump, flexible pipes, inlet and outlet valves and a mixer for a sepg. medium which can be added in a filed ratio with the water. It also includes an orientable nozzle with several openings to distribute the sepg. medium. The medium acts as a catalyst in agglomerating the less dense elements of the emulsion. The sepd. elements are discharged by a funnel. Impurities are eliminated by filters after decantation. The funnel can be regulated in height and a level indicator allows the flow to be optimised. The separator is pref. placed on a movable axle-tree, carrying in the region of the coupling bar a prop which is adjustable in height to allow the bottom of the receiver to be inclined for cleaning. A filter, pref. consisting of oil-absorbing flocks, is placed in the last chamber of the receiver.</p> |
