<p>An engraving machine has a stylus (32) connected by a parallelogram linkage to a pivot (25) attached to the base (1) and to a pivot (30) which supports the motor (6) which drives the engraving tool. The article to be engraved is mounted on the table (65) and clamped between sliding jaws (10, 11). These jaws have tapped holes with screw threads of opposite hand so that they are brought together by the rotation of the screwed rod (72) driven by the motor (74). The table (65) is raised or lowered by the screwed rod (47) engaging the nut (46) and driven by a separate motor (51).</p> |
