PURPOSE:To efficiently remove foreign matter such as hicky, by providing an exclusive motor equipped with a control circuit for controlling the surface speed of a foreign matter removing roller also used as a form roller in a stepless manner. CONSTITUTION:When the speed order from a speed ordering device 15 prelimi narily programmed under a printing condition is inputted to an inverter 14, a geared motor 13 rotates a foreign matter removing roller 3 also used as a form roller at a programmed speed. An encoder 12 always detects the number of rotations of the geared motor 13 and feeds back the detection result to the inverter 14 to apply the stable rotation of the programmed speed to the geared motor 13, and speed output Nn and the number Nm of rotations of a plate cylinder are operated by a comparing circuit 17 and an operation circuit 18 while the operation result is given to a clutch automatic ON/OFF circuit 19 and a sliding quantity display device 16. When this operation result is definite positive/negative quantity or more, a clutch 11 separates the geared motor 13 and the foreign matter removing roller 3 also used as the form roller to automatically protect the surface of a plate cylinder 11. |
