<p>A contact carrier (7) is secured within a housing (12) and contact elements (6) are located in openings in the carrier. Hardening plastics material is then introduced into the carrier, using hte housing as a mould, so as to embed the contact elements in the material. The contact elements (6) carry rods (14) for the connection of leads by the "wire-wrap" procedure, and are thickened where they adjoin the rods to serve as stops for the wire-wrap tool. The thickened parts of the contact elements are milled to prevent their rotation in the plastics material.</p> |
