The pallet is used to store goods and is made of wood. It has removable sides, these being supplied in two pairs, each comprising one fixed side (1) and a side opening gate (2). These are opposite each other and permit lateral unloading. Each side has two uprights (5, 6) upper and lower rails (3, 4) and wire mesh infill. The filed side has two brackets (13, 14) on its lower rail, these being inserted diagonally under the pallet top to grip when the side is straight. Each gate is on hinges (7) and has a drop-down bolt (9) onto the adjacent fixed side. Locations (20) are provided for stacking pallets.
