Fire alarm detector system - has matrix coupling to enable identification of sensor location in multi-storey building

A fire alarm system is designed for use in multi story building. It uses a number of alarm signal generators, and is arranged to enable immediate identification of the location by a central station. The alarm system has a number of hand activated alarms (M11, M21, Mn1) coupled onto a single line. Corresponding alarm generators are coupled (M21, M22, M23) to form a matrix. In addition sprinkler units (121, 122) detectors are coupled to the matrix as are automatic smoke detectors. All output stages are line coupled (LG1, LG2) (LGn) to the central station.
