The present invention provides novel fungicidal compositions for agricultural use which comprise an effective amount of a 1-(alkoxyphenyl)-5-(phenyl)biguanide compound having the formula: <IMAGE> where R is alkyl, linear or branched, having from 1-14 carbon atoms; and also acid addition salts thereof, in a suitable inert carrier material.
