PURPOSE:To display the prescribed position of a called pocket bell on a calling terminal by the nearest extension telephone number and to enable a callee to contact with a caller by providing a pocket bell receiver with an identification number sending means which sends identification number information of its own receiver at the time of receiving a pocket bell receiver searching requesting signal. CONSTITUTION:When the subscriber of a terminal 1 cannot contact a person who carries a receiver 4 though calling the receiver 4 by the terminal 1, the subscriber of the terminal 1 inputs the telephone number of the receiver following a special number indicating the searching request of the receiver 4 from an input part 11. A base station 3 transmits a call signal to the receiver 4. In the case of receiving this call signal, the receiver 4 transmits a weak radio wave on which its own identification number information is placed. A control part 23 detects this radio wave to transmit the nearest extension telephone number to the terminal 1, and the received extension telephone number is displayed on a display part 12. Consequently, the extension telephone set nearest to the receiver is called by the operation of the terminal subscriber to contact with the called subscriber. |
