Resistance measurement for cables - performs measurements at higher temp. when cable temp. is stabilised

The device ensures a uniform resistance over the length of a calibrated cable conductor, esp. of a stranded conductor. The measure for compacting or calibration is set in accordance with measurements by sections of conductor resistivity. A section of the cable used for measurement is treated by a heated medium. Heated gaseous medium, e.g. air, is applied to the cable section (1) until the same values of resistance are obtained during at least two consecutive measurements. The temp. of the cable section (1) surface is measured by a temperature sensor (4).
