Bell-shaped manometer - with strain gauges on an aluminium oxide-coated substrate

The bell-shaped manometer is provided on the surface, which will hold the pressure gauges,with a 2-10 (7) mu thick Al oxide layer over an Al layer, pref. of thickness 10-70 (50) mu. The contact regions on the strain gauges are pref. formed by a metal coating of thickness 1.5 mu, which can be soldered or welded. The bell-shaped manometer has a flange at the open end for connecting to a pipeline.
