摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain an image receiving medium reduced in the glossiness difference between an unprinted part and a printed and excellent in the uniformity of image gloss by providing a dyeing layer using an epoxy resin, a vinyl chloride/vinyl acetate/vinyl alcohol copolymer and isocyanate on a substrate. CONSTITUTION:The increase in the gloss of the high energy applied part of an image is performed simultaneously with the decrease in the gloss of the low energy applied part of the image by the incompatibility of an epoxy resin and a vinyl chloride/vinyl acetate/vinyl alcohol copolymer and the curing of a dyeing layer due to isocyanate. The dyeing layer B is provided to the surface of a base material A and consists of a substance easily dyed by a sublimable dye, a curing agent and a release aid and the resin is present at least in the surface layer part of the dyeing layer B. The heat-sublimable dye is sublimed and diffused from the dye transfer layer 3 of a sublimation thermal transfer recording medium to be transferred to the dyeing layer of an image receiving medium. The sublimed dye transferred to the image receiving medium is diffused through the dyeable resin forming the dyeing layer B to dye the layer B.
