PURPOSE:To improve the mattedness and transparency of a film after drying and curing by incorporating a specified water-based synthetic resin dispersion in a resin emulsion. CONSTITUTION:A resin emulsion (a) is obtd. by emulsion-polymerizing one or more monomers selected from methyl (meth)acrylate, butyl (meth)acrylate, vinyl acetate, ethylene, etc., in the presence of PVA, an emulsifier, etc. A water- based synthetic resin dispersion (b) is obtd. by dispersing a truely spherical synthetic resin (e.g. ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer) with a mean particle diameter of 0.1-3 times as large as that of the ingredient (a) in water in the absence of an emulsifier. 1-10 pts.wt. ingredient (b) in terms of solid content is incorporated in 100 pts.wt. ingredient (a). |
