PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a metal plate material excellent in terms of adhesiveness with a resin while preserving the electroconductivity on the metal surface.SOLUTION: The provided metal plate material is a metal plate material having a surface coated with a resin wherein a resin coat layer consisting of resin particulates is formed selectively on valleys of the surface of the metal plate material and wherein no resin coat layer consisting of resin particulates is formed on peaks of the surface of the metal plate material. In the provided method for coating a resin on the surface of this metal plate material, a particulate liquid provided by dispersing resin particulates within a dispersive medium is coated on the surface of the metal plate material, and the resin particles are mobilized from peaks to valleys of the metal plate material by drying the metal plate material so as to selectively form a resin coat layer consisting of resin particulates on the valleys of the surface of the metal plate material and to form no resin coat layer consisting of resin particulates on the peaks of the surface of the metal plate material. |
