Sealing electrolytic cell - using strips, e.g. of polypropylene, of identical dimensions

Cells of a bank of electrolytic units are sealed from each other by inserting packing pieces of identical wall thickness between adjacent cells. The actual wall thickness is defined by the desired cell distance and the final distance is governed by adequate pressure to achieve a good seal. Process achieves a perfect seal and a regular arrangement of the electrolytic cells. The maintenance is facilitated and the installation is simplified.
