<p>The saleman's case is designed to contain and facilitate the display of several superimposed sheets(5, 7) incorporating sample strips(6) of fabric e.g. carpet. The top edges of the sheets are fixed to the top panel (4) of the case, and are of a composite construction with a length(5) of the sample fabric bonded to a length(7) of cardboard. The fabric length(5) is fixed, thus, providing the flexibility whereby a sheet can be folded back to reveal the sheet below. The case may have a top panel(4) of a double construction to which the sheets(5) are pinned, and further sample strips(6) may be bonded to the top faces of the cardboard lengths(7). The case may also include a handle(2), a pivoting lid(1), and a strap type base panel(3).</p> |
