<p>The demountable sectional covering is for use on sports grounds esp. tennis courts. The covering may be supported by frames of an identical semic-circular cross-section and located at regular longitudinal intervals. A separately movable unit may be formed by two transverse frames connected by longitudinal members and bracing. Each frame may be built of chords, and the longitudinals may comprise tubes positioned at the chord intersections. The chords may be of a sheet-metal trough section, and weather proofing may be provided by a fabric cladding which spans between the chords of the two adjacent frames.</p> |
