The process comprises using a catalytic system constituted by the association of two salts or metallic complexes of formula (A) M1XnLm and (B) M2ZpL'q (where M1 is Rh; X and Z are each an anionic gp.; n is 1-3; m is 0-6; p is 1-3; M2 is Fe, Cu, Co or Ni; q is 0-6; L and L' are each a water or organic cpd. coordinate).
