The machine for stamping out self-adhesive labels from a bearer strip on to which a top surface is stuck uses two stamping cylinders(6, 8) which work jointly with a common counter pressure cylinder(4). The axes of the two stamping cylinders(6, 8), with the axis of the counter pressure cylinder(4) as apex, enclose a right angle. The stamping cylinders are located in blocks(10, 12) displaced in guides(14, 16) in the direction of the counter pressure cylinder(4). The stamping cylinders(6, 8) derive their pressure from cylinders(18, 20) in blocks(22, 24) displaced in the guides(14, 16). On these latter blocks(22, 24) act adjustment spindles(26, 28) located in yokes(30, 32).
