IMAGE FORNING DEVICE FOR REVERSIBLE THERMAL RECORDING FILM

PURPOSE:To initialize a reversible thermal recording film with a recorded image thereon and to restrict increases in the cost and device capacity and the complexity of an image forming control system by using an existing fixing- means for use in an electrophotographic process, in which an image is formed on a sheet of plain paper, without adding a dedicated erasing means for the reversible thermal recording film. CONSTITUTION:The fixing means 34 is used as an erasing means which initializes the reversible thermal recording film. A recorded image on the reversible thermal recording film is erased by applying heat by means of the fixing means 34 to the reversible thermal recording film fed and carried to an image forming part via a sheet feeding/carrying path for a sheet of plain paper.
