<p>The clamp secures sheet-type items, particularly blankets etc on beds, preventing them from sliding in a direction at right angles to that in which they are clamped. The material is held taut over its whole length, and the clamp can comprise a gripping and a fixing part, the former being a round or polygonal-section bar (1) secured between a pair of components. The fixing parts can be slid on and locked to the bed frame to secure the sheets under the patient, and can be loose where they hold those above, such as sheets and blankets.</p> |
