<p>The connection device comprises a connection housing (1) having through-lines (10, 11) for cold and hot water. Branch lines (14, 15) lead from each of said through-lines (10, 11) to a cylindrical clearance (2) with planar base (22). Discharge lines (5, 5') for mixing water are likewise guided by branch lines (16, 17) to the base (22). Consequently, the two inflow branch lines (14, 15) open centrically and the outflow branch lines (16, 17) open diagonally opposite each other. A joining piece (6) introduced into the clearance (2) is provided with through-lines (34-37) which, starting from annular ducts (18, 19, 20) located on the base, lead to the opening of the supply lines (24-27) in the fitting housing (9). The joining piece (6) is in two parts (7, 8). The centric part (7) has been introduced into the peripheral part (8) such that it can be turned round through 180 DEG . It is also possible to turn round the entire joining piece (6) through 180 DEG on the fitting housing (9). The entire joining piece (6) can be rotated, together with the fitting housing, through 360 DEG . Said parts (7, 8) can be produced from plastic injection mouldings and are thus inexpensive. By turning round and/or rotating, all mixed-up connections as well as confused mountings can be rectified. <IMAGE></p> |
