<p>The reservation indicator is for a seat on a public transport vehicle, being fixed to the wall and having a transparent door enclosing a reservation ticket. On the inside of the door (12) and opposite the data on the ticket (14) are grooves giving a magnifying effect (12a) in a direction at right angles to them. When shut, the front is at a distance from the ticket such as to enlarge the figures etc on it. The door can be of box-section. The design renders such tickets, particularly when printed by computer, easily legible at a distance.</p> |
