PURPOSE:To uniformly perform surface polishing work of a workpiece in a complicated shape by irregularly arranging permanent magnets in such a manner that magnetic force acts in a peripheral direction and an internal/external radial direction on a rotary unit formed of magnetic material, in a device uniformly polishing the workpiece by generating multichange fluidizing an abrasive by a magnetic field. CONSTITUTION:A rotary disk 4 formed of ferromagnetic material is fixed to a shaft 3 of a motor 2 worked in a housing 1, to secure disk-shaped permanent magnets 5 with a magnetic pole vertically placed onto this rotary disk 4. Here are secured the N, S permanent magnets 5 to be irregularly arranged with a little space apart so as to prevent coming into contact with each other. On a disk 7 set up to be fitted to a stepped part 8 of the housing 1, a synthetic resin-made tubular vessel 11 of receiving a workpiece and media is loaded, and the rotary disk 4 is rotated at about a 500 to 4000rpm rotational speed. In this way, the media are irregularly fluidized by an alternating magnetic field of the permanent magnets, and by moving the workpiece around a total unit of vessel contents, the workpiece, even in a complicated shape, is uniformly polished. |
