<p>At one end the cutting tool(20) is fitted with at least one hard metal plat(22, 23). The retainer incorporates a seat for the tool, in the form of two surfaces (15, 16) set vertically to each other. One of these surfaces is penetrated by a fixture element(18), such as a screw engaging the hole(21), engaging the end of the tool which is sited opposite to the end armed with the cutting plate or plates. Where there are two such plates, they may be brought alternately into an operative position relative to the retainer. This system permits easy replacement of tools.</p> |
