Front seat for small car - has shaped cut=outs on rear for access to back seats

The front seats of the car are assembled as a partial bench seat joined by a V-groove (22, 20) in the seat back and in the squab. The rear of the seat backs have profiled cut outs (6, 7) on each side to improve the leg room of the rear seat passengers. The cut outs are tapered into the seat contour, with the maximum depth at the outside edges of the seat back. The middle of the seat back has a strengthened padding (5) rib. The cut outs also improve access to the rear seats.
